Code of Conduct
The AASLD Communities,
Engage, (“AASLD Communities” or “Community” or “Engage”) is a service provided
by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (referred to as “AASLD,”
“we,” “our,” or “us”) for its members.
Thank you for
being part of Engage. To ensure the best possible experience for all members,
we have established this Code of Conduct governing your participation.
By joining and
using this Community, you agree that you have read and will follow this Code of
Conduct. You also agree to reserve discussions and shared files and content to
that best suited to this medium, which is intended to facilitate soliciting the
advice of your peers, benefitting from their experience, and participating in
an ongoing conversation. Any questions you have about the Community, its
content, or AASLD should be directed to our Member Services department at AASLD@aasld.org.
Please take a
moment to acquaint yourself with this Code of Conduct. If you have questions,
contact the Member Services department. In order to preserve a climate that
encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue, we reserve the right to suspend or
terminate your AASLD Communities account if you violate this Code of Conduct.
& Etiquette Guidelines
discussions and comments are meant to stimulate conversation and not to
create contention. Let others have their say, just as you may. Don’t
others. Focus on the content of posts and not on the people making them.

professional. Before you act on any information you've found on the AASLD
